Removing or Restoring a Lease

When should a lease be removed or restored from the My Leases tab?

Leases should be deleted (removed from the active dashboard) after the lease has expired and is no longer included in the annual financial reporting period. 

To retire a lease from the active dashboard, click the trash can  on the My Leases screen, to the left of the lease name:

 

This will change the lease status from its current status to "Deleted".  Deleted leases are not included in the calculations for Journal Entries, Amortization Entries and Footnote, and will also not be billed.

To view the deleted lease, select the filter function "Lease Status" and find the "Deleted" checkbox:

Selecting the "Deleted" check box will repopulate the list of leases with those that have a status of "Deleted":

To restore a deleted lease to full functionality, select the semi-circle arrow button.  Once confirmed, the lease will be restored, and can be included in report exports.
